An expensive island indeed: the fanciest shops, premium restaurants and high-end hotels pepper the streets. Giant yachts dot the cove-laden coastline, and “no paparazzi” became a familiar phrase for me in this town. Keep going up and find yourself in Anacapri – more strolls, shops and villas. Take the Monte Solaro chair lift to the top of the island for panoramic views and a moment to savor the scenery.
