PORTSMOUTH to WEST BAY, ENGLAND
Booked a steam train from Swanage to Corfe Castle, where I played amongst the ruins with a miniature Black Knight: Victory was His. Recovering from my swash-buckling loss on the battlefield, I nursed my wounds with afternoon tea and scones with jam and clotted cream.
West Bay
A sweet seaside town and the filming location for Broadchurch. After meandering the sandy beaches, shopping at antique markets and bingeing on honeycomb gelato, I tipped my newly acquired hat a heartfelt farewell and made note to return to this delightful place.
Portsmouth
A half-day pretending to be a pirate at the maritime museum and observing the city from the Emirates Spinnaker Tower.
