Glastonbury Abbey

The sun broke through the British clouds just as I began to walk the ruins.  The gardens, sculptures and buildings throughout provided the perfect backdrop to picnic under the warm rays and ponder the legends of Arthur and his Guinevere.

In Wells, I went in search of dragons ‘round the Bishops Palace gardens and stumbled upon the Vicars’ Close. Walked the colorful streets and shopped in the charming city centre. With a wee sloth mascot on my shoulder, I viewed the cathedral in all its gothic glory.
