QUEENSTOWN, NEW ZEALAND
Nestled at the banks of Lake Wakatipu and set against the dramatic Southern Alps, Queenstown inhabits some incredible surroundings. Weather and timing foiled us on sampling any of the extreme sports that Queenstown is known for, so we caught our breath, took it easy and enjoyed home-cooked meals at our window-filled Airbnb.
