Another family adventure on the books. Kayaking in search of orcas, we discovered sea otters and seals instead. Sprinkling fairy attractant in the evenings to lure more of the little sprites our way. DeElen started her first campfire and we roasted Oreo chocolate s'mores galore over her handiwork. Saving a hummingbird and watching the Bird Whisperer at work. Hiking the islands, playing baseball in the field with our beach found bat and waging mythic hot tub water fights. Drinking wine, eating chocolate and dancing with dad during sunset. It was hard for us all, but especially for Calliope, to say goodbye to the princess tower room and all the Finnley smiles and snuggles.
