SORRENTO, ITALY
My favorite home base for exploring the Amalfi coast. A slightly bigger town than its northern coastal cousins and an easier exit off the tourist trail to explore. While out discovering, I wandered through a lemon grove in the center of town, marveled at a cameo crafter at work and assisted in impromptu gelato-making. After watching the sunset and spying Mount Vesuvius in the distance, we gathered for a family dinner cooked with love and devoured with smiles.
